100 Indian Animals

My second book ‘100 Indian Animals’, co-authored by Nikhil Devasar, the founder of Delhi Bird Foundation, and Maitreya Sukumar, a co-founder of CAN Club, is part of ‘The Big Little Nature Books’ series of books. The book offers a wholesome view of the world of Indian animals – mammals, reptiles, and amphibians – allowing easy recognition of the 100 most common animal species found in India. Stunning images (including those taken by me) complement the simple description of individual profiles – with essential information on the physical description, habitat, and where to see the animal. The introductory spreads showcase the fascinating diversity of fauna in India, their role in the ecosystem, and the steps taken for their conservation. With fascinating stories, such as how animals communicate and attract mates, 100 Indian Animals offers an engaging introduction to the diversity of the animal kingdom.

The book was published by Dorling Kindersley publishers under Penguin House of Publishing in January 2020 and is available for purchase on Amazon
